Tri-City (1-1-0) capitalized on the power play, scoring five of their seven goals with a man advantage — including one of Williams two markers. Parker Bowles, Lucas Nickles, Ty Comrie, and Parker Wotherspoon also scored on the power play while Beau McCue added an even-strength goal. Bowles had two assists for a three-point night, and got a game misconduct and a five-minute fighting major. Jackson Playfair was also given a game misconduct. Tate Olson and Wil Tomchuk got game misconducts for the Cougars (1-1-0), who racked up 70 penalty minutes on 21 infractions.
