The Toronto Blue Jays could be interested in the services of former New York Yankees hitting coach Kevin Long. Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News says that the Jays are one of three teams, along with the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets, who have been in contact with Long, who was dismissed last month at the end of the season by the Yankees after eight seasons with the club. The Blue Jays current hitting coach, Kevin Seitzer, is on a rolling contract, but the team has not given any indication that he isnt expected back for a second season with the team. Seitzer was handpicked by Jays manager John Gibbons and knows the two-time All Star from their days together with the Kansas City Royals. If the Jays were to make a move at the position, it would mark a fourth different hitting coach in four seasons. Prior to Seitzer, Chad Mottola held the position in 2013 after Dwayne Murphy had been reassigned to first base coach after three seasons in the position. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Bears Jersey . The Leicester boss was speaking after seeing his side edge closer to Premier League glory with a 1-1 draw against Manchester United; a result which takes them eight points clear at the top.A win would have guaranteed the first top-flight title in Leicesters 132-year history, but that could now be confirmed if Spurs fail to pick up three points at Stamford Bridge, live on Sky Sports 1 HD, from 7pm on Monday. But Ranieri says he could miss the historic moment because he will be on a plane home following a short trip to Italy to visit his 96-year-old mother. He told Sky Sports: I would like to watch the match, but I think I am on a flight back from Italy, so its difficult for me to watch the match. Wes Morgan admitted Leicester had to work very hard for a point In this case they were more comfortable, pushed a lot and pressed in our half. It was difficult for us to play because they were pressing very well. For us, it was important to show our character and also our mentality.
