Tom Daley continued his Olympic Games warm-up with victory in the 10-metre platform event at the LEN European Aquatics Championships in London. Daley delighted a packed home crowd at the Aquatics Centre on a night when Great Britain took their medal haul for the week to 11 and were awarded the Champions Trophy for finishing top of the points table.The British favourite finished with 570.50 points to beat Russias Viktor Minibaev, the 2014 European champion, by 45.90 points. Team-mate Matthew Lee finished fifth with 465.10 points.Daley took the lead in the third round and finished off his set of dives in scintillating style by scoring 99.00 points.Coming into this competition Ive been really excited, said Daley, who will celebrate his 22nd birthday on Saturday.Ive been training well and I just wanted to dive at my best.
