New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Carey Price made 24 saves for his third shutout of the season, and the Montreal Canadiens blanked the New York Rangers 1-0 on Thursday. Max Pacioretty scored the lone goal with 4:17 remaining in the third period, helping the Canadiens extend their win streak to four games. Henrik Lundqvist finished with 25 saves for the Rangers, who have dropped two straight following the All-Star break. They had been on a 16-3-0 tear prior to the hiatus. New York came close to ending the deadlock, but Price made a save on Martin St. Louis, who had batted a rebound out of the air six-plus minutes into the third. Pacioretty snapped a shot from above the right circle through the legs of Rangers captain Ryan McDonagh and past Lundqvist to give Montreal the lead.
