Del Rio went 3-1 as interim coach when John Fox underwent heart surgery last season. Fox is entering the final year of his contract, but he and the Broncos hope to reach an extension this off-season following Denvers runner-up finish to Seattle in the Super Bowl. Including the 3-1 mark under Del Rio, the Broncos are 37-17 since Fox took over in 2011, including 3-3 in the playoffs.
